A WWE Hall of Famer has slammed a match at WrestleMania 39 that Triple H had called “awesome”.
Having named Charlotte Flair vs Rhea Ripley as “the best match at WrestleMania”, Ric Flair would turn his attention to another match on the card.
Speaking further about his daughter on the To Be The Man podcast, Ric Flair would be derisive of another high-profile match, saying:
“My hat’s off to Rhea Ripley. She let Ashley hit her as hard as I used to hit Steamboat, and that’s what makes it real, as opposed to Seth Rollins [and] Logan Paul, laying on their backs, side by side, and slapping each other in the chest.
“Come on, they’re both better than that.
“That looked bad compared to Ashley chopping Rhea. Come on. Let’s get serious.”
Triple H, by contrast, would call the match “awesome” in a text message that he sent to Logan Paul after his WrestleMania moment with Seth Rollins.
UFC President Dana White would also comment on Logan Paul, saying WWE signing the social media influencer had been “an absolute home run” for the company.
It was reported that Logan Paul had likely signed a new WWE contract recently, with his past deal ending at WrestleMania 39.
It was previously reported that Charlotte Flair might be taking a break from WWE television following her loss at WrestleMania 39.
