WWE Star Reacts To Tag Team Partner’s Loss Amid Split Rumors

Grayson Waller has reacted to the return of Sheamus on WWE Raw, which led to a loss for his A-Town Down Under teammate, Austin Theory.

The May 5 episode of WWE Raw saw Sheamus make his return, with Waller having seemingly been set to face the Celtic Warrior.

Having asked for a match on WWE Raw last week, Waller was seen backstage talking to General Manager Adam Pearce, seeming to have second thoughts after discovering who he would be facing.

Shifting the opportunity into a show of generosity, Waller gave the match to his tag partner, Austin Theory, without revealing who he’d be facing.

With Sheamus appearing for the first time since the Royal Rumble in February, Theory was clearly frustrated as he realised what had happened.

Waller would go on to share his praise for his A-Town Down Under teammate on Twitter, although his intentions didn’t go unnoticed by some fans, tweeting:

“Super proud of @_Theory1 tonight.

“That match was an absolute banger! #WWERaw.”

Before his return, Sheamus was last seen on screen in the men’s Royal Rumble match, although he would face Bron Breakker at two WWE Road To WrestleMania 41 house show events.
