Former WWE Star Addresses Championship Loss WWE

A former WWE star has addressed a recent championship loss and set out their future goals after their reign ended.

TNA No Surrender took place on February 13 and saw Lei Ying Lee defend the Knockouts World Championship against NXT’s Arianna Grace.

Known to WWE fans as Xia Li, the TNA Wrestling star now known as Lei Ying Lee became Knockouts World Champion at NXT Gold Rush on November 18.

It would be Grace who would leave No Surrender as champion, with Lee now addressing the loss.

In a post she shared to Twitter, Lei Ying Lee wrote:

“Not the end. Not even close.

“I’m coming back for my title.”

The post was accompanied by the photos from the match, including one showing Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo offering assistance to his real-life fiancée (and daughter of Santino Marella), Arianna Grace.

To clarify any ambiguity in her message, Lei Ying Lee would follow up the tweet with a post that stated:

“I meant what I said.”

While Grace took home the Knockouts World Championship, Lorenzo would leave without the TNA International Championship, losing to Trey Miguel.

The former Xia Li debuted in WWE during the 2017 Mae Young Classic and would continue to perform on NXT until her main roster call up in 2021.

She would be released from her WWE contract in April 2024, debuting on iMPACT! later that year, and has since performed on NXT as part of the partnership with TNA Wrestling.
