WWE stars Elton Prince and Kit Wilson of Pretty Deadly have addressed coming up short in their in-ring return on SmackDown.
After pitching “Pretty Deadly: The Musical”on last week’s show, Prince and Wilson returned to the ring on this Friday’s (July 5) SmackDown episode.
Prince and Wilson were unsuccessful in their first match back, losing to Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford of the Street Profits in tag-team action.
Elton Prince has now taken to Twitter to react to his loss, and to quote Les Misérables, writing:
Have we fallen so far, And is the hour so late, That nothing remains but the cry of our hate….
Kit Wilson decided to express his feelings about his loss while sharing a nod to Hamilton, tweeting:
Our big return to #SmackDown ended in a loss…
We will not throw away our shot!
The duo’s in-ring return this week marked their first televised match together since SmackDown back on March 29, 2024 where they picked up a win over Randy Orton and Kevin Owens.
The duo did appear in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the April 4 SmackDown episode as singles competitors.
Ahead of their SmackDown returns, Prince and Wilson were shown very briefly in the crowd at Clash at the Castle.
