Name For New WWE Luchador Seemingly Revealed WWE

WWE has filed an interesting trademark that could relate to a “mystery” Lucha star who debuted on March 10, 2025.

The star in question may have been Chad Gable in a Lucha mask, although a backstage interview with the American Made leader would see a mystery man in the same attire being dragged away.

Regardless of the identity of the masked man, WWE would add the Luchador mask to their online shop after he cost Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee their match against New Day on Raw.

WWE have also filed a trademark application that seemingly connects to the masked star.

Under US Serial Number 99081918, WWE have filed for the term “Grande Americano”.

The application was filed on March 13, 2025, with the Goods and Services description:

‘Grande’ would also be one of the cup sizes for coffee fans ordering from Starbucks.

‘Americano’ is a popular coffee made by pouring espresso over hot water.

At the time of writing, it is unclear as to how exactly WWE will use the term, and the connection to the Gable storyline is just speculation at this point.

WrestleTalk will provide further details, should they emerge, with readers able to keep track of trademark applications here.
