A luchador was unmasked during his match on tonight’s March 2 episode of WWE Raw at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Back at WWE Royal Rumble on January 31, GUNTHER defeated AJ Styles to force Styles into retirement.

Since then, Styles’ former World Tag Team Champion partner Dragon Lee had been looking to avenge Styles and get back at GUNTHER.

On tonight’s Raw, a match between GUNTHER and Lee took place, and although Lee put up a valiant fight – and even almost scored as win via countout – it was GUNTHER who scored the win.

What Does WWE Star Dragon Lee Look Like Without His Mask

The finish of the match came when GUNTHER countered Lee’s Operation Dragon finisher into a sleeper hold – the same hold he’s used to defeat the likes of John Cena and AJ Styles.

However, just before he locked the sleeper in, GUNTHER tore the mask off Dragon Lee’s head, which is seen as one of the most disrespectful things that can be done to a luchador.

The win means GUNTHER extends his streak of winning every non-title singles match he’s had since being called up to the main roster four years ago.
