WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria has revealed her “massive dream” opponent, having recently faced Becky Lynch.
At the May 10 WWE Backlash, Lyra Valkyria retained her championship, defeating Becky Lynch.
On a recent episode of My Mom’s Basement, Valkyria spoke about the main roster WWE star that she would consider to be a dream opponent.
Valkyria stated that Charlotte Flair would be her “massive dream” when it comes to future opponents, saying:
“Charlotte (Flair) would probably be the third kind of horsewoman that… she would be a massive dream to get in there with.”
She would go on to name a WWE star who was recently released from her contract, naming Dakota Kai and saying:
“Dakota Kai is another one that I really feel like we just kind of happens great in the ring, where it just, you can’t really explain it, it just works.
“(We’ve) never (wrestled in) WWE, so that would be cool. She’s a person that I’ve been watching for a very long time as well.”
Dakota Kai was one of a number of stars released from their WWE contracts on May 2, 2025.
In addition to being the inaugural WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion, Valkyria is a former Women’s Tag Team Champion (alongside Becky Lynch) and is a former NXT Women’s Champion.
