Lyra Valkyria Comments After Losing WWE Queen Of The Ring Final WWE

After falling short in the finals of the WWE Queen of the Ring tournament, Lyra Valkyria has commented in a new backstage interview.

WWE posted the comments shortly after today’s Premium Live Event, which featured Nia Jax beating Valkyria in the tournament final, had concluded.

Valkyria said:

“It was all right there. I felt so good, felt so confident, and obviously now, not only did I lose the chance to be Queen of the Ring, (but also) the chance to go to SummerSlam. I feel like I’ve been hit by a truck. I always say that success is going from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm, but right now, it’s a hard one to stand up after.

“But, who comes to Monday Night Raw and gets this far in their first month? I know now I belong in that spot. I know now I can hang with the very best. This is just the start of Lyra Valkyria’s journey. I’ll get back to where I was, and next time, next time I get a shot, I’ll make sure I come out on top.”

Prior to her victory, eventual 2024 Queen of the Ring winner Nia Jax vowed to target the WWE Women’s Champion Bayley at SummerSlam.

Elsewhere, the winner of the King of the Ring tournament GUNTHER has already declared his intention to take on the WWE World Heavyweight Champion at SummerSlam.

However, with WWE Clash at the Castle fast approaching, it is unclear who will leave Glasgow, Scotland as the title holder.

Triple H appeared in a backstage segment to announce that Drew McIntyre was both medically cleared and set to to challenge Damian Priest for the championship at Clash at the Castle.
