‘An Honor’: WWE Star Addresses Main Roster Debut Opponent WWE

A WWE star has shared a message about her opponent for her official main roster debut, stating that it was an honor to face them.

With several NXT stars being brought to the main roster, Jordynne Grace became the latest addition to the SmackDown women’s roster on the January 9 show.

Grace made her SmackDown in-ring debut on this show, defeating Alba Fyre in under three minutes.

Jordynne Grace has now responded to a Twitter post, which shared a throwback photo of Fyre as NXT UK Women’s Champion Kay Lee Ray.

Showing respect to her first SmackDown opponent, Grace wrote:

An honor to wrestle KLR in my first match as a Smackdown superstar 🔥

Fyre – as Kay Lee Ray – was the longest reigning NXT UK Women’s Champion in the entire history of that title, holding the gold for 649 days, from August 2019 to June 2021.

Trick Williams also wrestled his first match as a SmackDown star on January 9, defeating Rey Fenix in singles action.

Meanwhile, Je’Von Evans signed with WWE Raw during the commercial break of the January 5.
