WWE Main Roster Stars To Defend Championship In NXT

After a pair of NXT stars called out current WWE champions for a title shot tonight, the champs have now responded.

After picking up a win over Sol Ruca and Karmen Petrovic, Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson called out a pair of current WWE champions.

Reminding Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre that they said they were willing to defend the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship on any show, the Meta-Four duo wanted a shot at next week’s NXT Great American Bash.

Responding on Twitter and then confirmed on the show, Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre accepted the challenge.

After the match was made official, Isla Dawn shared the match graphic with a simple note.

Dawn wrote:

“Hey @WWENXT, you miss us? 💁🏼‍♀️🫶🏻”

Also made official for Great American Bash, a title shot for another member of Meta-Four as Oro Mensah finally gets a shot at Ethan Page.

At week two of Great American Bash (August 6), the NXT Championship will be on the line when Oro Mensah challenges ‘All Ego’ Ethan Page.
