The minimum pay for a WWE star on the main roster has been revealed and is an increase over the amount earned in recent years.
In May 2022, Triple H told The Athletic that talent on WWE’s main roster brands – Raw and SmackDown – “earn at least $250,000 annually”.
That figure has seemingly increased in the almost three years since that report, with Fightful Select now reporting on the pay bump that new main roster signings can expect to receive as a minimum.
While individual stars may be able to negotiate their own salary, it is reported that the claimed current minimum pay is $350,000 per year.
Fightful notes that they had been “contacted by numerous talent and those who help nail those deals down” to come to the updated figure.
The report mentions that a WWE main roster deal covers airfare but doesn’t necessarily cover expenses such as hotels or rental cars.
It all, of course, depends on what is agreed upon in individuals’ contract negotiations, as all talents’ deals are different.
Stars such as Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre have reportedly signed “big money” contracts in the past twelve months, with those deals stretching over multiple years.
