WWE Star Shares Thoughts On Main Roster Run So Far: ‘There’s Still A Lot That I Want To Do’

Ricky Saints has commented on his main roster run so far, after being called up to the SmackDown roster in May.

Following an NXT run which saw him hold the NXT and North American titles, Ricky Saints made his SmackDown debut on the May 1 episode, facing WWE Champion Cody Rhodes in non-title action.

Speaking with SOUNDSPHERE MAGAZINE, Saints reflected on his WWE main roster run so far, stating that he wants to keep the momentum going.

Looking back on his career, Saints said:

“It’s been a really great run. I feel very accomplished, but there’s still a lot that I want to do.

“There is a lot of hard work that has happened, and it still is, you still have to do the same stuff, but it’s been great. This has been a really wonderful time, especially since May. I’ve done a lot, and I want to make sure I keep that momentum going.

“In my career I have had to start over multiple times, leaving a company and then starting new somewhere else, and then starting new when you get to the main roster.

“There’s a lot of gambling that has been documented in my career, but I don’t think that would be a Ricky Saints career if I didn’t take a gamble on myself and bet everything on myself and see how it plays out.”

With Saints and Rhodes having previously faced off in AEW, Ricky recently stated that he felt a sense of history repeating itself during their SmackDown match.

While Ricky Saints doesn’t currently have a match announced for SummerSlam this weekend, many fans are hopeful that Saints will appear at the Money in the Bank premium live event in October, which will take place in his hometown of New Orleans.
