WWE Main Roster Star Moving Back To NXT

WWE Main Roster Star Moving Back To NXT

The never-ending Superstar Shakeup led to several members of the WWE roster finding new homes, with all five brands seeing talent come and go. There are always tag team casualties in these situations, one of which was the tandem of Robert Roode and Chad Gable, which was unceremoniously split.

However, the team most affected by the Superstar Shakeup was rarely seen SmackDown act Sanity. First WWE moved Eric Young to Raw without any fanfare or explanation at all, he was simply placed on a graphic of talent that had moved brands.

Next, Alexander Wolfe was shunted down to NXT UK where he reunited with former Ringkampf buddies WALTER and Axel Dieter Jr., as well as Fabian Aichner, in a new faction called Imperium.

It was later reported by PWInsider that Nikki Cross would be making Monday Night Raw her home, which was confirmed by her roster profile changing on WWE.com. Cross is yet to wrestle or even appear on the show and has fallen behind the likes of Dana Brooke in the pecking order.

That just left Killian Dain, a man who had shined in NXT in both the inaugural WarGames match and the North American Title ladder match at TakeOver prior to WrestleMania 34. However, since moving to the main roster the former Big Damo has been cast aside, was briefly forced to wrestle in an unflattering singlet and has not been on television for months.

It has now been confirmed by Dave Meltzer that Dain is not moving to Raw to be with wife Nikki as was first reported (and given WWE has bent over backwards to ensure other couples were kept together, this is absolutely what it should have done) but will be heading back down to Florida for NXT.

Dain is expected to be part of the NXT television tapings at Full Sail University this evening. Join us later for live NXT spoilers right here on WrestleTalk.com
