Following the conclusion of the 2020 WWE Draft, it’s still a possibility that a current main roster star could be making a return to the NXT brand.
Andrade remains one of the only two names from the draft pools who hasn’t yet officially been allocated a brand, alongside the injured Mickie James, and could be heading back to the show he once reigned over as champion.
It was reported yesterday that the plan was for Andrade and James to end up on Raw, but PWInsider is now noting that Andrade going to NXT is indeed something that has been dicussed in the last week.
The former NXT Champion, whether he’s planning on going back there or not, is taking the opportunity to fuel some speculation on social media, tweeting the following image of him with the brand’s title belt from when he was champion:

As mentioned, the last word was that the plan was for the Mexican star to simply remain on Raw, but the fact that moving to NXT is something that has been at least discussed is a promising sign.
