For years, many WWE fans in the United Kingdom have been patiently waiting for WWE to bring a pay-per-view event across the Atlantic Ocean for the first time since 2003. I should know, I am one of them.
Well it appears the wait may soon be over, as a report from WhatCulture states that a WWE source has said that WWE is planning a major pay-per-view event in September 2022 to take place in the United Kingdom.
Not only is WWE hoping to bring a show to the UK, but they are reportedly aiming to have 90,000 fans in attendance.
The obvious venue that comes to mind would be Wembley Stadium in London, but there are certainly a number of different venues available to host an event of that magnitude.
