Mandy Rose has revealed that she still does keep an occasional eye on WWE NXT and loves what Tiffany Stratton has done.
Rose was released by WWE in December 2022 due to the nature of what she was posting on her FanTime page at the time.
The former NXT Women’s Champion appeared on Busted Open Radio and was asked whether she has watched NXT since her release.
Rose would confirm that she does watch the programme but not on a weekly basis.
After being asked to name the stars who stand out, she would single out Tiffany Stratton, saying:
“Obviously I love what Tiffany Stratton has done since I’ve been away from there.
“I think there were some comparisons with them trying to make her like me, which I don’t agree with. I think she’s her own person.
“We all can be compared to people, like I love being compared to Trish Stratus, but I am my own person as well.
“So I think she’s an incredible athlete. Even when I was training over there, the way she was progressively getting better so fast, it was wild. So I definitely see that.
“I just think there’s so many women right now that are arriving. Some of these girls, I remember training, they just got there, and now they’re having these amazing matches. It’s crazy to see, which is awesome.”
Paul Heyman has recently commented on Stratton being a “significant player in the future of this industry.”
Stratton has commented on her transition from her original ‘daddy’s little rich girl‘ character in 2021.
In a recent Q&A, Rose was asked if she would join AEW or TNA, saying that it would rely upon “the right phone call”.
