Mansoor has announced that he will be auctioning WWE memorabilia in support of the people of Gaza as the Israel-Hamas war ravages the region.
The conflict has entered its second week with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warning that the conflict will be “a long war.”
Former WWE star Mansoor has revealed that he has donated a considerable sum to MECA and will also be auctioning memorabilia from his WWE run to donate more.
MECA is the Middle Eastern Children’s Alliance which states, on their official website, that:
“One million people have now been displaced in Gaza.
“MECA’s staff, partners, and volunteers have already gotten aid to more than 70,000 people and we will continue as long as possible.”
In Mansoor’s post calling for support, he tweeted:
“Yesterday the US vetoed a UN resolution that would allow desperately needed medicine, food, and water into blockaded Gaza.
“I’ve donated $4,000 to MECA and will be auctioning memorabilia from my time in WWE so I can provide more. Please help if you can.”
He showed the memorabilia on offer in subsequent posts that can be seen below.
For anyone interested in donating to MECA’s support efforts, their donation page can be found here.
MECA is providing humanitarian aid right now in Gaza. Although the borders are closed, they have partners on the ground making a difference and they need our support.
