World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has made the SportsPro list of the 50 Most Marketable Properties for 2021.
The company received a ranking of #20, with a 23.1 opportunity score. WWE was placed higher than UFC (#27), UEFA Europa League (#36) and NFL Football (#37). In the 2020 list, WWE was ranked at #21
The list was topped by FIFA World Cup, which received an opportunity score of 35.6. A number of soccer teams made the list, including Real Madrid (#4), FC Barcelona (#5) and Liverpool (#8). The UEFA Champion’s League was ranked #6, and the Premier League ranked #9.
As per SportsPro, the Most Marketable list enables sports marketers to make decisions about sponsorships more efficiently through “the application of in-depth data analysis, advanced social media monitoring, and real-world consumer insights”.
WWE is set to announce the company’s 2021 third-quarter financial results on Thursday, November 4.
