A WWE match was called off after a star suffered a legitimate injury mid-match on tonight’s March 4 NXT show.

Tonight’s NXT show served as the go-home show for next week’s WWE Roadblock special at The Theater in Madison Square Garden, and featured the official WWE singles debut of Jordynne Grace, with her facing Cora Jade.

TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich was shown in the crowd for the match, with her set to face Cora for the title at the upcoming TNA Wrestling Sacrifice pay-per-view on Friday, March 14.

However, the match was called off early due to Cora Jade suffering a legitimate injury, with the doctors checking on her and deeming her unfit to continue and Grace being announced as the winner due to stoppage.

Corey Graves on commentary noted that the injury appeared to be to Cora Jade’s right knee, although Fightful Select is now reporting that it was actually a head injury.
