WWE Match Mysteriously Pulled From Show With No Explanation

WWE Match Mysteriously Pulled From Show With No Explanation WWE

A match that had been advertised for last night’s January 31 episode of WWE NXT mysteriously didn’t take place, and there was no mention of it during the show.

A week prior to last night’s show, a match between Cora Jade and Lyra Valkyria had been announced, but neither woman actually appeared on the show at all.

This doesn’t seem to have been a totally last-minute decision, as Rich Schellhase, a fan who attends almost all NXT shows, noted that the match wasn’t listed in the lineup that had been sent out via email earlier in the day.

However, it was still being advertised as of January 28.

Last night’s NXT was the final episode before Vengeance Day in Charlotte, North Carolina, which neither Jade nor Valkyria have been announced for.

The matches that did take place on last night’s show were Indus-Sher vs the Creed Brothers, Zoey Stark vs Indi Hartwell, Dijak vs Von Wagner, Tyler Bate vs Axiom, Stevie Turner vs Dani Palmer, Drew Gulak vs Charlie Dempsey, and Chase U vs The Dyad vs Edris Enofe & Malik Blade.

The card for Vengeance Day has Bron Breakker defending the NXT Title in a steel cage match against Grayson Waller, Roxanne Perez defending the NXT Women’s Title against Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne in a three-way, New Day defending the NXT Tag Title against Gallus, Pretty Deadly and Chase U in a four-way, Katana Chance & Kayden Carter defending the NXT Women’s Tag Title against Fallon Henley & Kiana James, Wes Lee defending the NXT North American Title against Dijak, and a 2/3 falls match between Apollo Crews and Carmelo Hayes.
