Kalisto & Lince Dorado vs. Buddy Murphy & Tony Nese
It’s admittedly a shame that Buddy Murphy is no longer in the main event scene but at least he hasn’t lost a step. There’s something about the way he sells that just lifts his matches to the next level. It’s the spiking. Definitely the spiking.
He, along with Nese, looked incredibly strong in this bout. Their hard-hitting style works well against the always fun high-flyers of the Lucha House Party. The right team won and I look forward to seeing this story progress.

Mustafa Ali vs. Hideo Itami
What a match. Mustafa Ali recently had a legitimate spell in hospital for unknown reasons which was brilliantly woven into the narrative at play here. He seemed unsure of himself and moved slightly slower than usual, leaving himself open to Itami’s attacks.
The two are brilliant performers and put on a clinic as expected. The story, however, seemingly came from nowhere and was a genuine delight to watch. Whatever happens in the upcoming title match between Drew Gulak and Cedric Alexander, either of these two would be fitting challengers to fight for the cruiserweight division’s top prize next.
