Former WWE Star To Make Rare In-Ring Return WWE

WWE Tough Enough co-winner Maven is going to make a “rare in-ring appearance” for Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling promotion.

Maven was the co-winner of the first season of WWE Tough Enough alongside Nidia in 2001 and would go on to make his main roster debut on SmackDownn in October of that year.

Following his release in 2005, he would perform on the independent scene before wrestling his at-the-time last match in October 2007.

He’d make his in-ring return in July 2015 and completing a small number of bookings before taking a hiatus until November 2021.

Since then, he’s had five matches, with the last being in July 2023 and is set to have his first match of 2024 for Reality of Wrestling.

As can be seen in the post shared on Twitter below, Maven will be in action on the March 9 The Last Stand Rumble show.

Current ROW Heavyweight Champion Will Allday took exception to the announcement, tweeting:

“What the???”

In response, the Reality of Wrestling Twitter account replied:

“Everyone’s coming after your title!!”

During his time in WWE, Maven was a three-time WWF Hardcore Champion.

Although he would be released in 2005, Maven has since revealed that WWE approached him about a potential return in 2008.

Recently, Maven has been posting regular videos to his YouTube channel talking about his history in WWE.
