Maxxine Dupri has shared her honest thoughts on her heel turn that saw her join The Vision and on Austin Theory in particular.
The July 6 episode of WWE Raw saw Maxxine Dupri turn heel, aiding Austin Theory & Bron Breakker to become a member of The Vision.
With Dupri getting close to Austin Theory, the former Women’s Intercontinental Champion would address her character change during an interview with WittyWhittier, saying:
“I love it. Y’all pissed me off for three years. I have so much to get off my chest. It’s amazing”
When it comes to her new association with Austin Theory in particular, Dupri would agree they are a perfect match, saying:
“I mean, we are perfect together, I agree. I think we look perfect, we act perfect, everything we do is 10 out of 10.”
“I love it, It’s so special getting to work with someone who is so talented. I mean, I’ve said it time and time again, and I’ll remind you, he’s the hottest, most jacked, talented, tenacious superstar in all of the WWE, so there’s quite literally no one better for me to be paired with.”

Dupri has recently stated that she wants “to be taken seriously”, seeing her membership of The Vision as a method to get opportunities.
Maxxine Dupri Needed A New Vision
It’s easy to see Maxxine Dupri as the light-hearted character she became as a member of Alpha Academy, yet it was an act that seemingly had a use-by date attached.
Shifting her to a partnership with Natalya allowed a tempered edge to form for the star, particularly after the veteran became a rival, reborn as Nattie. As did allowing the star to show her potential during her feud with Becky Lynch that saw Dupri become Women’s Intercontinental Champion.
Her recent work has, arguably, added depth to the character she became in Alpha Academy, with her attitude towards Chad Gable when he attempted to make amends with his former faction indicated the work she is capable of on the microphone.
Signed to a WWE contract in 2021, Dupri’s early televised career would see her in a manager role, serving as Director of Talent for Maximum Male Models (ma.çé and mån.sôör) and the on-screen sister to Max Dupri, the star now known as LA Knight. She wouldn’t have her first match until July 2023, team with Gable and Otis in a mixed tag victory over The Viking Raiders (Erik, Ivar & Valhalla).
For Dupri, her in-ring career would take in NXT, Raw, Main Event and the untelevised WWE house show circuit, allowing her to develop her skills as a competitor Dupri last competed on the June 29 episode of WWE Raw, losing to Raquel Rodriguez of Judgment Day, and appears content in her current role in The Vision, although there’s every chance she could step back into the ring again.
