Hall Of Famer Trish Stratus Sends Message To WWE Star After Title Change

Hall of Famer Trish Stratus has now reacted to a WWE star’s first-ever championship win on Monday Night Raw.

The November 17 episode of WWE Raw saw Becky Lynch put her WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship on the line against Maxxine Dupri.

Thanks in part to the return of AJ Lee, Dupri was able to get the victory, marking the first time she has held a title in WWE.

With footage of Dupri’s victory being shared by the official WWE Twitter account, Trish Stratus would give her praise to the new champion, tweeting:

“Yah she did!! Cause hard work ALWAYS pays off!!

“Congrats @maxxinedupri!! Proud of you!!”

By contrast, Becky Lynch would be less positive after her loss, threatening a lawsuit against WWE to get the result overturned.

Dupri’s work ethic has previously been recognized by Chelsea Green, who noted that she is “working her ass off every week.”

Having signed with WWE in 2021, Dupri has previously stated that she wants to wrestle as much as she can, with her recent run seeing her compete on NXT Live house shows as well as on the main roster.
