Recently Returned WWE Star Opens Up About Triple H Relationship WWE

In his role as WWE Chief Content Officer, Triple H has sought to bring back wrestlers who were released during his absence from the company.

Among those names was Mia Yim who had been released in November 2021.

Yim returned to the company a year later, appearing on the November 7 2022 episode and aligning herself with The OC (Finn Balor, Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson).

Recently, Yim addressed her relationship with Triple H and how her return came about.

Responding to a question about getting the call from Triple H, she said:

“It was flattering, and it was honestly shocking because this time a year ago I would have never in a million years thought that I would be back.

“Triple H has always been super supportive, and he was always this way, even when I was at NXT with him.

“He always listened, and he took the time out to make sure that we were OK.

“I’ve always felt comfortable and secure with him.”

She would go on to discuss her position at the time, being a member of the Impact Wrestling roster, saying:

“So, when he came back and was in charge, and he reached out like, ‘What do you think about coming back?’

“I was still with Impact at the time, but I was just trying to decide what to do next, because I was on a short-term deal.

“My main goal in wrestling was to be able to take care of my family and make sure that my mom was OK.

“And in talking to (Impact’s) Gail Kim and Scott D’Amore about it, I was like, ‘Listen, I need to do what I have to do to make sure that my mom is good. She’s about to retire. She lives by herself. I got to make sure she’s good.’

“They were super supportive about it. And that was the deciding factor, was the fact that they were comfortable with it.

“Hunter, like I’m super comfortable with him, so it was an easy decision. And, of course, my husband was super supportive of what I chose.”

Yim had previously discussed her release and how a return to Impact Wrestling had reignited her love of wrestling.

Since her return, she has also adopted the name Michin, though the use of this still seems rather inconsistent.

She recently deleted her Twitter account after receiving abuse over a photo that she shared with Austin Theory.
