Michin has opened up about the relationship between fellow WWE star Big E and her real-life sister, Kris Yim.

In March of last year, it was reported to Big E and Kris Yim had got engaged,

During a recent episode of What’s Your Story? with Stephanie McMahon, Michin spoke about the relationship, describing it as a “perfect match”.

The WWE star would discuss the early days of the couple and how Big E wasn’t focused on relationships at that point in his WWE career, saying:

“Once they got together, it’s funny because me, Kofi (Kingston) and (Xavier) Woods talk about it all the time. Getting to know E, very wasn’t interested in relationships, wanted to do his own thing, and my sister was very much the same way, and she, rightfully so, has very high standards in a man, so once she sees a red flag, she’s out, she don’t care, which I love about her.

“So in my head, there’s no guy for her because she deserves the perfect guy, so when they met, I introduced them at WrestleMania, I think in Hollywood a couple years ago, and then they got to hang out at Bianca’s premiere, and they actually got to sit together and talk. I felt like I was cock blocking because we had to go, but they were able to exchange numbers and stuff, and then they started to flourish and from the jump, perfect match.

“Individually, they were their own people, they were okay being alone, but now they found each other, they’re the perfect match. I love seeing my sister in love, and he’s such a great guy.”

Woods and Kingston parted ways with WWE earlier this year, with the report noting it was “mutually agreed”.

Big E continues to work in WWE, serving an analyst and spokesperson for the company, having retired from in-ring competition following a career-ending injury suffered in March 2022.

Where Next For Woods & Kingston?

New Day will go down as a legendary tag team, be it on either side of the moment that brought end to Big E’s in-ring career.

A hugely popular and highly entertaining team throughout their WWE careers, the departure of Kingston and Woods saw Bobby Lashley describe the decision as “a horrible move, but it could be a great move for someone else.”

That move could very well see Kingston and Woods head to AEW, with Swerve Strickland sharing an insight into the mindset of both former members of WWE’s New Day.

While a direction is yet to be revealed, it seems like the pair still want to have active in-ring careers, bringing their remarkable chemistry to a potential new audience.

There doesn’t appear to be a rush, however, with Tyler Breeze suggesting that Woods, in particular, is “just chilling” for the time being.

Bring to a close a sixteen-year run for Woods, and a near twenty-year tenure for Kingston, it’s little wonder that they have taken their foot off the gas before weighing up the decision that will lead to their next move.
