Former AEW star Miro has been confirmed for an international appearance after news emerged of a potential WWE return.
Miro and AEW parted ways in February 2025, with it being report that it was a mutually agreed termination of his contract.
With Malakai Black also finished with AEW, it has been reported that WWE creative has been talking about the return of both stars.
While it remains to be seen if or when the former Rusev returns to WWE, he has been announced for an international show.
Qatar Pro Wrestling has announced that Miro will be at their Super Slam III show on February 21st & 22nd.
The show takes place at Aspire Ladies Sport Hall and is presented in collaboration with Qatar Calendar which aims to position the region as a “premier destination for wrestling and sports entertainment”, according to the event website.
Further names announced for the show include Mustafa Ali, Nic Nemeth, Bobby Lashley, Mick Foley, Jushin Thunder Liger, Brian Cage, Matt Cardona and Jinder Mahal among others.
The first night of the two-night show will be headlined by Bobby Lashley, currently of AEW’s Hurt Syndicate, taking on Alberto Del Rio, according to Marhaba.
Night two will feature the headline match of Nic Nemeth vs. Matt Cardona followed by a closing ceremony for the event.
Super Slam III has secured TNA Wrestling as a supporting partner for the upcoming show, with Triller TV as their broadcasting partner.
While it remains to be seen if Miro will head back to WWE, Josh Barnett has commented that he would be welcome in GCW Bloodsport.
