WWE Money In The Bank 2018 – Week Four Raw Qualifiers

WWE Money In The Bank 2018 – Week Four Raw Qualifiers

With Money in the Bank less than three weeks away, Raw capped of its show in Richmond, Virginia with a grueling gauntlet match to determine the last competitor entering into the red brand’s side of the women’s iconic ladder match.

The gauntlet started off with Bayley. After conducting a brief interview with Charly Caruso in the ring, where she ran down each and every competitor on the match, her first opponent made her way to the ring in the form of the Riott Squad’s Liv Morgan.

The bell rang and, wasting no time, Bayley hit Morgan with a Bayley to Belly, pinning her for the three count. Next out, Sarah Logan.

Logan lasted longer in the ring than her Riott Squad predecessor by countering the same move that eliminated her Squad sister from the start. Logan and Bayley take the fight both out and inside the ring. This round came to an end when Bayley countered Logan’s pinning attempt into one of her own for the three. After the victory, Morgan entered the ring again as she and Logan beat down on Bayley, leaving her victim to their leader Ruby Riott.

Riott and Bayley battled it out and even after a Riott Squad ambush, Bayley seemed to be making a comeback, throwing offense at Riott. It is short-lived, however, as Riott clocked Bayley with a Riott Kick for the three, eliminating the ‘Hugger’.  Next out, Dana Brooke.

Ruby started off strong against Dana, however, the ‘Statistician’ made a comeback. She showed off her athletic skills and planted Ruby with a clothesline but only made it to a two count. The round came to an end with Riott countering another clothesline into a Riott Kick, covering her for the three count. Next out, Mickie James.

These two probably had the longest bout of the whole gauntlet. Mickey started off strong, taking the fight to the outside, leaping from the apron and landing on Ruby only to get her back in the ring for a quick two count. The majority of the match seemed to be on the side of hometown hero James, who got in the majority of the offense. However, the round came to an end when Ruby countered the Mickie DDT into a rolling pin and a handful of tights. Next out, the last entrant of the gauntlet, Sasha Banks.

The round started with a quick succession of pinfall attempts, Sasha coming out on top as she overcame the tired Riott. The pair had a tough battle, momentum constantly switching between the pair. The round came to an end when the Riott Squad ran interference to help their leader get a roll-up with a handful of tights. Sasha kicked out, however, and locked Riott into a second Bank Statement for the win.
