As confirmed by Raw General Manager Kurt Angle this past Monday, Money in the Bank will return as the next pay-per-view in the WWE calendar. This year’s event will see dual-branded MITB ladder matches with a total of 8 competitors in both the men’s and the women’s.
Kurt also made the stipulation to the Raw locker room that if they wanted a spot they had to earn it by competing and winning their qualifier match. With this, last night saw the first three entrants:
Braun Strowman dominated Kevin Owens and was announced as the first entrant for the men’s match.
Ember Moon became the first female entrant, overcoming Sasha Banks and Ruby Riott in a triple threat.
Finn Bálor beat Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn in the main event triple threat to join Braun in the men’s match.
The 2018 Money In the Bank pay-per-view takes place on June 17 at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, IL and looks to be a promising night for two lucky superstars.
