The planned opening match for tonight’s WWE Money In The Bank premium live event in Toronto has been revealed.
WWE Money In The Bank is set to take place tonight in Toronto, with five big matches set for the show as the road to SummerSlam draws near.
There has been a lot of speculation on which match could open up the show, and the planned opening match has now been revealed.
Per PWInsider Elite (subscription required), the event is set to kick off with the Men’s Money In The Bank Ladder match, which will see Andrade, Chad Gable, Carmelo Hayes, LA Knight, Jey Uso and Drew McIntyre battle for the briefcase.
The men’s Ladder match opened up last year’s Money In The Bank event as well, with World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest winning the briefcase on the night, before cashing in at WrestleMania to become the World Heavyweight Champion.
Priest will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Seth Rollins on tonight’s premium live event.
We will of course keep you posted with all the news during tonight’s show and the fallout throughout the weekend.
