Former WWE star Matt Cardona has commented on attending Money in the Bank, sharing his reaction to Chelsea Green losing her match.
Ahead of competing in the six-woman Money in the Bank ladder match, Chelsea Green confirmed that Matt Cardona would be in the Scotiabank Arena to watch her win.
Green almost did win, as she was alone at the top of the ladder… before she was joined by eventual winner Tiffany Stratton, who pushed Green off the ladder in the ring, through tables set up at ringside.
Matt Cardona has reacted to Green losing the match, tweeting:
Toronto Screwjob. I love you @ImChelseaGreen. #MITB
Cardona also shared a video of his live reaction to Chelsea Green’s huge table spot, which you can view below.
The former WWE star also shared a photo of himself backstage with Chelsea Green, holding his own Money in the Bank briefcase.
He captioned his post:
I cashed in my #MITB briefcase for the hottest WWE Diva… @ImChelseaGreen!
Chelsea Green recently addressed the possibility of Cardona returning to WWE, naming another former WWE star she’d want to return alongside her husband.
