WWE Money In The Bank Roman Reigns Match Announced!

By Jamal Niaz

Roman Reigns and Jinder Mahal are perhaps the two most disliked wrestlers currently on the WWE roster. With the case of Jinder, this is fine as he is portrayed as a monster heel. Unfortunately, on the other side, we all know the struggle Vince has had getting Reigns over as the company’s top babyface.

A developing feud between the two is sure to capture the fans interest considering the polarizing nature of both superstars and it doesn’t look to be a short-term rivalry with a match between the two being announced for Money in the Bank.

The bout was announced last night on Raw after Mahal attacked Reigns during his match with Kevin Owens. This led to a tag match between the team of Jinder Mahal and Kevin Owens against Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns.

The former Shield members subsequently picked up the win but Jinder continued to take out his endless anger towards Reigns as he beat him down with a chair after the match had ended.

The feud between the two began when Jinder attacked Reigns during a qualifying match for this year’s Money in the Bank ladder match. Since then, the two have been inseparable with the highlight being Reigns spearing Mahal through a wall during a huge brawl at last week’s Raw in London.

The ‘Modern Day Maharaja’ has failed to reach the heights of his 2017 main event run since dropping the WWE Championship last November. A win over Reigns, however, would immediately place him as a force to be reckoned with on Monday nights.

Likewise, Reigns will be looking to continue to build momentum to another inevitable encounter with the ‘Beast’ Brock Lesnar who holds the WWE Universal Championship.
