Seth Rollins made history at WWE Money In The Bank 2025, at the expense of his bitter enemy CM Punk’s historic wins.
Rollins became a two-time Money in the Bank winner during the June 8 event, unhooking the briefcase in the ladder match involving Andrade, El Grande Americano, Solo Sikoa, LA Knight and Penta.
With this victory, Rollins became the second star to win two Money in the Bank ladder matches. This ended CM Punk’s stint as the only two-time Money in the Bank ladder match winner.
This wasn’t the only way Rollins updated the WWE history books, with Rollins now the record holder for the longest time between two Money in the Bank ladder match wins, with his second win coming 11 years after his 2014 ladder match victory.
That’s another record Rollins has taken from CM Punk, who won his first Money in the Bank ladder match in 2008, and his second in 2009.
Even if counting any second-time briefcase wins, Rollins still holds the record, with The Miz just falling short with 10 years between his two runs with the briefcase.
The Miz won the 2010 Money in the Bank ladder match, and defeated Otis with the briefcase on the line in October 2020.
