WWE Celebrates #MonthOfMysterio To Honor Rey Mysterio 20-Year Anniversary WWE

The WWE class of 2002 was absolutely stacked with talent, as we have seen with recent 20-year anniversary celebrations of Randy Orton, Batista, John Cena and Brock Lesnar.

Another iconic WWE star celebrating 20 years this year is Rey Mysterio, who is set to have his legacy celebrated on the July 25 episode of Raw in Madison Square Garden, 20 years to the day since his SmackDown debut.

It’s not just Raw that will honor Rey’s legacy however, as WWE has now announced that they will be celebrating the #MonthOfMysterio on social media to celebrate the luchador’s anniversary.

Get ready to pay tribute to one of WWE’s most beloved Superstars of all time.

This Monday marks 20 years since Rey Mysterio first made his WWE debut on SmackDown. Since that night, The Ultimate Underdog has accomplished it all, from waging in-ring classics and elevating the craft of sports-entertainment, to winning the top prize in the land, the WWE Championship.

In addition to celebrating Mysterio’s 20-year milestone this Monday on Raw, WWE will recognize the legendary luchador throughout the #MonthOfMysterio on social media. Be on the lookout for original video features, including a career retrospective edition of WWE Playback, a look at Mysterio’s incredible influence as told by his peers, and an in-depth exploration of some of Mysterio’s most iconic masks.

Rey will be in action on the July 25 episode of Raw, where he teams with his son Dominik against the Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and Damian Priest.
