MVP was a casualty of Brock Lesnar on WWE Raw this past Monday, and it sounds like his expensive jewellery was too.
MVP hosted a VIP Lounge segment with Brock Lesnar as the special guest, during which Lesnar accepted the challenge to face MVP’s client Omos at WrestleMania 39.
When Lesnar wanted to share a swig of White Lightning with MVP to celebrate, MVP said he’d rather just have a sip of the champagne that was on the set – but Lesnar pressured him into drinking the White Lightning.
It turns out MVP didn’t like it very much and instinctively spat it out all over Lesnar, which led to Lesnar getting a bit angry and giving him an F5 in the ring.
According to MVP, during the physicality, one of his new earrings didn’t survive.
He tweeted:
“I lost one of my relatively new diamond earrings taking that F5 in the VIP ‘Longue’. Anyone want to donate to a fund to buy me a new set?”
The “longue” misspelling was because of a typo in WWE’s tweet that MVP was replying to, just in case you were wondering.
He then posted another tweet, writing:
“I mean, I was physically assaulted for YOUR entertainment. The least you can do is spare a few thousand to replace my earrings. Well, it was actually a diamond cluster. VS. Beautiful stones. My ear was bleeding and everything. For YOU!”
The Lesnar vs Omos match was indeed made official after the segment, with reports since indicating it wasn’t the original plan for Lesnar at Mania.
