A WWE name has addressed their absence from the November 11 edition of Monday Night Raw in Grand Rapids, MI.
The November 11 edition of Raw emanated from the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, with WWE conducting a double-taping for both this past week’s episode and the November 18 show.
One name absent from the taping was WWE Raw backstage interviewer Jackie Redmond, with SmackDown’s Cathy Kelley filling in.
During an appearance on GabbyAF, Redmond explained her absence, revealing that she booked time off work due to an impending feeling of burnout following Crown Jewel and her commitments working for the NHL.
Redmond explained:
“I am really good. I actually have this week off. I have learned over the course of my career to take care of my mental health and know — I can tell now when burnout is coming and so I strategically plan, kind of, when I’m gonna take a day here or a day there so I wasn’t on Raw this week for that reason.
“I knew coming off of Saudi Arabia, I would be fried and I did a hockey game right afterwards so I’m glad I took the time. I’m really good right now. I’ve slept in my own bed like five nights in a row which is outrageous for me…”
In the same interview, Redmond opened up on her relationship with AEW’s Renee Paquette – who she called a “mentor” and someone she is “indebted” too – click here for full details.
