WWE
A WWE name has announced their new role in the company following some previous confusion surrounding their employment status.
Last month, former NXT Senior Writer and Producer Jim Smallman hit the headlines when he announced that he was resigning from his post in order to move back to the UK.
While many perceived this to mean that he would be departing WWE as a whole, Smallman would later clarify that he was in fact remaining with the company and was simply exiting his role on the NXT creative team.
Now, courtesy of a post on his Linkedin page, we know what new role Smallman will be taking up within WWE.
Announcing that he will now be working as an International Talent Scout for WWE, Smallman wrote:
Delighted to share that I’m starting a new position as International Talent Scout at WWE!
Have loved my six years of working for WWE so far, and it’s wonderful that I can now combine being back in the UK for my family with still contributing to the business that I adore so much.
With every WWE show playing on Netflix here in Europe, it’s a very exciting time for wrestling on this continent so I am very much looking forward to seeing what the future holds.
Prior to working with WWE, Smallman worked on the now defunct NXT UK brand, he also co-founded UK based promotion PROGRESS Wrestling.
