A WWE name has asked a rising AEW star to “beat” reigning TBS Champion Mercedes Mone for them.

Tonight’s AEW Dynamite in Omaha, NE (March 19) may be facing some severe weather, but the show is still set to go ahead, with a big title match being announced by Tony Khan in the hours ahead of the show.

That match being a TBS Championship bout between current holder Mercedes Mone and 20-year-old ROH regular Billie Starkz, with the young star throwing out a challenge to Mone on last week’s Dynamite.

Ahead of the match a Twitter user posted a throwback picture of Starkz as a young Bayley fan in attendance at WWE NXT Takeover Respect in October 2015, a show headlined by Mercedes Mone (then Sasha Banks) and Bayley.

Tweeting in response to the full circle moment of now facing off with a star she watched as a fan a decade ago, Starkz confidently claimed:

And I’m going to walk away TBS CHAMPION!

This would then draw the attention of WWE star Bayley herself, who requested that Starkz “beat” her former rival and tag team partner in Wednesday’s title bout.

Bayley wrote:
