WWE Name Shares Honest Thoughts On Roman Reigns Return

A WWE name has shared his honest thoughts on Roman Reigns following his return on Raw this past Monday at Madison Square Garden.

Reigns made his comeback as the equalizer to Brock Lesnar, rounding out the lineup for this year’s men’s WarGames match at Survivor Series.

On his Notsam Wrestling show, WWE host and analyst Sam Roberts gave his thoughts on Reigns’ return and the current version of Reigns in general.

He said:

“I really hope that this is not another instance of Roman Reigns back for WarGames and then he disappears again. I really hope we’re gonna see Roman around for a while.

“Because I feel like this was a Roman that felt far more motivated than Roman has in the past. Roman, sometimes when he comes out he looks like he’s getting revenge against one individual, and sometimes he doesn’t even get the revenge against the one individual.

“I’m ready to see that Roman quest. I’m ready for more Roman on television. I’m ready for Roman to start going towards either the World Heavyweight Title or the WWE Championship.

“There are always rumors about how much longer is Roman gonna do this? And maybe Roman doesn’t even know. But are we gonna see another Roman Reigns title reign, or is that it? And if that is it, I cannot believe that Roman’s not going to try to get another title reign.

“I think Roman Reigns winning this (WarGames) match for his team makes a lot of sense, because it starts pushing forward this idea that Roman is back. Roman now can feel like he is better than anybody on his own team that he has a problem with.

“I think that as much as a four-year title run will do for somebody, sometimes you have to remind people who you’re dealing with, and I think that’s the case that we have with Roman Reigns here.

“And when I say I hope we get a lot of Roman Reigns, it’s not just Roman on TV. Tell me that story. Because Roman has been on TV so sporadically, especially since WrestleMania, that we haven’t told this story.

“We haven’t really examined what Roman is like without Paul Heyman. We haven’t really examined who Roman Reigns is now. Does he have a hunger for the championship? Is he planning on going to the Rumble? Who’s he gonna face at WrestleMania? All this stuff.”
