There has been an update on an important backstage name who’s been absent from WWE recently, including when to expect him back.
Previously the news of both Michael P.S. Hayes and Bruce Prichard taking leaves of absence from WWE was revealed, although it was also noted the absences were for separate personal reasons.
Hayes reportedly returned at this past week’s double WWE SmackDown taping, and now there is an update regarding Prichard.
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Daily Update, WWE executive director CWT, Bruce Prichard, is “not expected back until early 2025”.
Previously, Prichard’s Something to Wrestle podcast co-host Conrad Thompson commented on the absence, confirming that Prichard was still employed by WWE with nothing salacious going on with the leave of absence.
Rather, it was referenced that Prichard was taking time away from WWE and the podcast to attend to personal/family health issues.
As noted, Hayes for his part was back in action backstage at SmackDown, noted as having produced the Bloodline segments for the November 22 episode, including the returns of Paul Heyman and CM Punk.
