WWE Name Set To Miss Raw

A WWE name has confirmed they will be missing tonight’s May 5 episode of WWE Raw – the last episode before Backlash.

Tonight’s show takes place in Omaha, Nebraska at the CHI Health Center.

One name that we now know we won’t be seeing on the show is backstage interviewer Jackie Redmond.

Redmond was working at last night’s Winnipeg Jets vs St Louis Blues NHL game, which went to double overtime.

Redmond explained on Instagram that she’s actually missing Raw for another reason, but even if she wasn’t, she’d be missing it anyway as she wouldn’t have been able to travel there in time.

She said:

“So, I am in Montreal, Canada, waiting to get on a plane… duh. But I’m not in Omaha. And you may be asking yourself why. There’s a couple of reasons for that.

“My original plan was to take a redeye last night/this morning into Omaha. Didn’t work out that way, for a couple of reasons. I actually had to take myself off of Raw for another reason that I won’t get into.

“But the game was crazy, as you know, and went to double overtime, and so I would have missed my flights anyways and WWE would have gotten a last-minute, ‘Hey, I can’t make it’, so it all works out sometimes.

“But, here we are. I won’t be there. Single tear. I’m so sorry. But I’ll be watching from home.”
