WWE Name Confirms Re-Signing With The Company, Reveals Original Return Plans WWE

A WWE name has confirmed their re-signing with the company as a wrestler and trainer, as well as sharing details of their original return plans.

Over three years following his WWE release in November 2021, Lince Dorado made his return to the company at an NXT live event in Citrus Springs, FL, on January 17, 2025.

Shortly following this Dorado changed his social media bio to suggest he had rejoined WWE as a coach, before making two more in-ring appearances at NXT live events in February.

Speaking on 302BIRDS, Dorado confirmed his role in WWE while also revealing original plans that would have seen him return to the company two years ago.

Dorado explained:

“I should have been here two years ago. I was actually in talks with them to come back two years ago, without giving too much information.

“I am back now, as of February. Technically, January, but February is when I started. As both a wrestler and a trainer. They’ve trusted me to train the next superstars of tomorrow at the highest point with WWE.

“I’m very fortunate that I’ve found my calling. I used to be a math teacher, so teaching has always been in my blood. Teaching wrestling is something that I love.

“Realistically, I’m not going to wrestle forever, so I try to better myself and find a skill within wrestling that’s going to keep me in wrestling, whether that’s making gear, making masks, training people, or consulting.”

Prior to his recent return, Dorado last wrestled with WWE in September 2021, having spent five years with the company before his release.

In the time between his WWE exit and return Dorado competed for almost every major promotion outside the company, including AEW, NJPW, CMLL and TNA Wrestling.
