A WWE name has been removed from the company’s roster page after not appearing on television in almost two years.
WWE officially disbanded the NXT UK brand back in September 2022, when the NXT UK championships were unified with the NXT championships at the Worlds Collide event.
NXT UK’s absence saw numerous names released from the company, while some others were actually moved over to the American NXT brand.
Andy Shepherd served as the ring announcer for the brand, as well as moving on to provide play-by-play commentary alongside Nigel McGuinness.
Despite not appearing on WWE television since the closure of NXT UK, Shepherd had remained listed on the company’s roster page, but that is now no longer the case, as Shepherd has been removed from the roster page today, July 11, 2024.
WWE had announced the upcoming launch of ‘NXT Europe’ following the closure of NXT UK, but very little information on the brand has been revealed since that original announcement.
We will provide any updates on the brand’s status as they become available.
