WWE Name Reveals His Ultimate ‘Goal’ In The Company WWE

To main event WrestleMania is often seen as the pinnacle of any WWE star’s career, however, for NXT commentator Vic Joseph, despite not being an in-ring competitor he too shares a similar career goal.

While Joseph currently provides commentary in WWE’s developmental brand of NXT, Joseph has already racked up quite the WWE resume in his six-year stint in the company.

As well as NXT Joseph has provided commentary for 205 Live as well as a brief stint as lead Raw announcer between September 2019 and January 2020.

However, speaking to Chris Van Vliet on his ‘Insight’ podcast, Joseph revealed that the main box he has wanted to tick off has not yet been achieved, that being to call the main event of WrestleMania.

Jospeh revealed:

“My goal in life is to call the main event of WrestleMania. Throwing it out there.”

“Because we talk about talent that’s in the ring, there’s only one main event each night of WrestleMania.

“There’s only so many main events that have happened at WrestleMania. There’s been countless matches, but there’s only been one or two main events.

“I want to call a main event of WrestleMania.

“I’ve called matches at WrestleMania, I’ve called championship matches at WrestleMania, but I’ve never called the main event.”

Joseph explained that this goal drives him every Tuesday at the NXT booth, no matter who his broadcast colleague is at the time.

The current voice of WWE is and has been Michael Cole for quite some time, while the veteran commentator recently laid clear his retirement plans he seems intent on not hanging up his headset just yet.

A former WWE star recently heaped massive praise on Cole and his under-appreciated work for the company, even labelling him “this generation’s Jim Ross”, to find out more follow this link here.
