WWE Veteran Wants WrestleMania Main Event With Current Women’s Champion WWE

WWE’s Natalya has thrown her hat in the ring for a future WrestleMania main event match against a current NXT star.

Having recently stated that she can’t rely on opportunities week after week, Natalya made the bold prediction of a future main event match on WWE’s The Bump.

Speaking the May 22 episode of WWE’s The Bump, the former Divas Champion, said:

“Roxanne [Perez] is amazing. She’s actually trained with me in The Dungeon. I enjoyed training with her… and getting to compete against her. I think she’s so talented.

“I know she plays the role of the bad guy, bad girl on TV, but she and I really gelled in the ring and we just had instant chemistry.

“I can’t wait to wrestle Roxanne again soon and I think, down the road… I wouldn’t even mind main-eventing WrestleMania with Roxanne.

“I mean, I have big dreams too, but she’s so talented and she truly is a student of the game, she loves this, she loves WWE, she has loved wrestling since she was a little girl.”

Natalya would recall how she first met Perez when the NXT star was 13 during the recording of Total Divas.

She recounted how Perez had asked questions of herself and the Bellas about making it to WWE.

The moment was caught on tape by the producers and was shared by the WWE Twitter account in December 2022, as can be seen below this news story.

On May 15, it was revealed that Natalya’s WWE current contract was up in “a couple of weeks“.
