Natalya has sent a message to the newly-crowned WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion, Maxxine Dupri, on last night’s Raw.
The November 17 episode of WWE Raw saw Dupri score the win over Becky Lynch, albeit with an assist from the returning AJ Lee.
With Dupri as the new WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion, her mentor, Natalya, has shared her praise, tweeting:
“She’s stayed positive, been the epitome of a professional and worked hard.
“Congratulations @maxxinedupri.
“Now the real work begins.
“See you this week at THE DUNGEON. #WWERaw”
Dupri has been a regular at Natalya and TJ Wilson’s The Dungeon training facility, with the WWE veteran recently commenting on her student’s dedication.
In recent comments, Dupri has stated that she wants to wrestle as much as she can, be it on NXT Live shows, dark matches or on main roster shows.
While Natalya may be proud of Dupri, Becky Lynch was decidedly less so and has threatened WWE with a lawsuit, noting that AJ Lee was operating without a manager’s license.
Lynch has found support from New Day, with the trio having previously shared their thoughts on John Cena becoming WWE Intercontinental Champion.
