A WWE veteran star has teased her mindset for a potential future match against a recently crowned Women’s Champion.
Natalya was on hand to crown Kali Armstrong as the first-ever Women’s Evolve Champion on the May 28, 2025, episode.
There would be a brief confrontation between Armstrong and Natalya, hinting that they’ll eventually face each other in the ring.
During a recent episode of Busted Open Radio, Natalya opened up about her interest in WWE EVOLVE and Armstrong in particular, saying:
“I love doing EVOLVE. It’s something I asked Triple H if I could do. He reached out to the people at NXT, and of course, Shawn Michaels is very heavily involved with EVOLVE, and Kali is somebody that I really want to work with.”
Natalya, who has recently competed in a number of independent wrestling matches, revealing a more dangerous edge to her persona, went on to address a future match with Armstrong, stating:
“I think she’s going to be working with…I’m not sure if she’s going to be working with Natalya or Nattie.
“I have to figure out which girl she’s going to meet. If she continues to keep up her bitchy attitude, she might meet Nattie.”
Natalya was introduced as Nattie Niedhart for her GCW Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport debut on April 17, 2025.
The match saw her defeat Miyu Yamashita, with Natalya having described herself as “a sick f**k” ahead of the match.
Following fan criticism that her appearance at Evolve was a “demotion”, Natalya opened up about wanting to face women from across the industry.
