Natayla Reveals ‘Turning Point’ In Relationship With Current WWE Champion

Natalya has revealed the “turning point” in her relationship with a current WWE champion, having witnessed a step change in their mindset.

Beyond her WWE veteran status, Natalya also owns The Dungeon, serving as a trainer to current and future wrestling stars.

One such star to step foot into The Dungeon is current WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion, Maxxine Dupri.

During a recent appearance on Busted Open Radio, Natalya revealed the moment that her relationship with Dupri saw a “turning point”, saying:

“When you’re watching Maxxine and I train in The Dungeon, I couldn’t be more proud of her.

“This last week was a huge turning point in our relationship, because as her coach, as someone who has invested so much time in her, now I see that she finally is getting it.

“Now, I see that she wants it. And, to me, it’s a huge, huge turning point, not just in her trajectory, for her career, and especially now that she’s the women’s champion… a women’s champion in WWE… but, I can say with full confidence that, as her coach, in that session, I really believe in her now.

“Like, I feel, like everything that I’ve been showing her is finally working, and it gave me a sense of fulfilment that I was like ‘yes, yes, yes’.

“I mean, the next time we get in there and train together, my next request would be for her to crank it harder. Really show me what you’re made of.”

Dupri has recently credited Natalya for changing the way that she works, noting that the WWE veteran has helped her with “shifting (her) aggression”.

The owner of The Dungeon training facility has recently shared her praise of John Cena and Bayley following the recent Lodestone seminar.
