WWE and Netflix have announced an interactive horror film, featuring The Undertaker, and Kofi Kingston, Big E & Xavier Woods of The New Day.
‘Escape The Undertaker’ will see The New Day try to escape The Deadman’s haunted mansion, avoiding traps along the way. The film will premiere on October 5.
Viewers will have control, able to make choices for The New Day as they try to flee the mansion. Netflix has been experimenting with interactive content, notably releasing Black Mirror: Bandersnatch in 2017.
In 2019, WWE and Netflix signed a deal for WWE Studios to create films for the streaming platform. In April 2020, The Main Event, starring the likes of Sheamus and Keith Lee, premiered on the platform.
A Vince McMahon documentary series is set to drop on the service in the future.
