WWE Star Further Teases Tag Team Split WWE

Karrion Kross has issued a one-on-one challenge to the New Day with Kofi Kingston seizing the opportunity for next week’s WWE Raw.

Xavier Woods and Karrion Kross were seemingly set to cross paths on the May 17 WWE Raw until their match announcement was deleted from the official Twitter account.

As can be seen below, however, Kingston and Woods had their moment with Kross, albeit at a distance.

With Kross issuing the challenge to either man, he would stoke the fires of discontent by saying he hoped Kingston would take the challenge because “we all know you’d rather have Woods in the back”.

Kingston would, indeed, accept the challenge from the Final Testament member, cutting off Woods during the response to Kross.

Kross has reacted to the scene in a tweet that throws further shade at New Day, saying:

“Unreal how Woods can’t even get a word in without being repeatedly cutoff.

“Still think I’m making things up?”

In response, a fan had a suggestion for the future of Xavier Woods, tweeting:

“Oh how I’d love to see the darker side of Woods, come to light. Sinister Woods”

Kross would have a response to this harkening back to a previous name for Woods, stating:

“Consequences. ⏳”

Consequences Creed was the name that Woods used during his TNA Wrestling run from 2007 where he teamed with Ron Killings as Truth and Consequences.

July 2024 marks ten years of The New Day, although Kross appears to be intent on stopping that anniversary from happening.
